Cold treatment, also called medicalized cryolipolysis, is a new procedure allowing the crystallization of fat cells that self-destruct under the action of cold, in a permanent way.
→ The area to be treated is sucked by an applicator, a type of large suction cup equipped with an electrode heat extractor. The fatty tissues freeze quickly to below zero degrees.
It takes 45 minutes of application for the process to cause cell death. These should be eliminated naturally over the following weeks.
